Veronica Rumens

I am a professionally trained and fully qualified integrative counsellor, offering counselling and psychotherapy service for couples and individuals in Greenwich, South East London. I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. I also have a degree in Psychology. 

 

In addition to my private practice, I have worked in other generic counselling settings which gave me experience of working with many different types of people from varying walks of life.

 

I have developed my experience through different aspects of work. I have a background in business psychology, and had a successful career as a consultant prior to my clinical career. Working as a management consultant enhanced my analytical skills, and now, in my current work as a counsellor, I am able to think with a very open mind, enabling me to look beyond that which is obvious.

At Space For Self I offer my clients a safe place for exploration and transformation. I see counselling as a process of discovery of our real authentic Self. A journey towards living to our full potential. 

 

I work in an integrative model, which means using different elements of therapeutic theory to create an exploratory way of working with clients. I work with clients’ present day experience, using a wide range of creative methods to allow deeper discovery and understanding of self.

 

I tend to combine more common therapy approaches with recent and innovative approaches and techniques, depending on my clients needs.
